|It's been a while...
Hope y'all (ugh) are doing well. I've been great. Started a business (VoIP Service
) and running another VoIP
site that compares VoIP providers. Not much going on other than that, but all is well. :)
Nitzan, over and out.

| Need a power supply?
Free after rebate, free shipping, tax only $3.30. God I love Fry's. :)
And while you're at it, Need a case?
This one I'm not so hot about, free after rebate, but $12.39 shipping and $4.125 tax.
Still though.. a simple case for $16.5.. not bad at all.

|Need "pet sitter" for Saturday
Anyone interested or knows anyone who might be interested? I live in Wylie (closer to Murphy) so unless you're around here it might be a bit of a drive.
Basically need someone to come over on Saturday morning or afternoon, make sure kitties are ok, make sure rat is ok, and feed the fish. Shouldn't be too hard. :P
Not sure about pay- open to offers if it's reasonable. :)

So, I registered for fall. Taking Beginning Japanese I (on campus) and Principles of Microeconomics (web), both of which I am very happy about.
Beginning Japanese may be a bit of a repeat since I've been studying by myself so much, but I do need to brush up on reading katakana and proper grammar. The book I am using currently (Japanese for Busy People I) is great, but as the name implies it concentrates on teaching the language quickly without going too deep into proper usage and such. We'll see. Class starts end of August and I can't wait.
Principles of Economics should also be fun (yes, I know what you're thinking, but I *like* economics).
That is all, for now.

The TV got here last Thursday, it's GIGANTIC!! Connected the PC using S-video cable which was OK quality, but not great, so a couple of days ago I went to Fry's and got a 15-pin VGA male to male cable and connected it directly via the VGA input on the TV, I knew it'd look better but man.. the quality now is AMAZING!!! we're talking computer monitor quality on a 61" screen! (1280x720 resolution).
Watching high definition stuff now is awesome - you can totally see the difference. Now all we have to do is actually get HD content, lol. Our current cable sucks ass with essentially nothing worth watching. Looking into options which include HD broadcast, maybe Voom or something like that... I wish they'd come out with IPTV already!
Other than that, everything is great. I'm enjoying my "vacation" from school (as much vacation as I can get with a full time job, lol) and my Japanese is getting better. I'm almost finished with my book, but I really wish I was in a class where I can actually practice it. Hopefully they'll offer it at CCCCD next semester.
Oh yeah, the movie scenes in FFX completely blow me away!

Busy, busy, busy... school started this week and between studying and working I barely have time to breathe. I've been pretty much ignoring livejournal altogether this week. In the interest of being able to skim my friends page quicker, I have removed many people from my friends list and will remove some more. I enjoy reading all of your posts and would like to stress that this is nothing personal, I will add you again soon. For the time being though I would rather skim my friends page very quickly, and spend a longer amount of time on your individual pages when I get a chance.

To whom it may concern:
Bush won, deal with it.
I'm tired of seeing so many conspiracy theories out there. Why can't you handle election results when they are not in your favor? Are you that self-centered that you are willing to sacrifice the entire popular vote system just because you disagree with the results?
Competition can bring both the best and worst in people. Dems have two options- Bitch and whine all the way to 2008 and probably lose another election as a result, OR- go back to work, put their best efforts into it, and come up with a worthy candidate for 2008 who will stand a good chance to win. It's up to them, and I hope they make the right choice.

Last week, I had a flat tire, which was promptly fixed.
No, I swear- there *is* a point to above statement.
On Tuesday I had a strange dream. I don't recall much of it (I never do) except that I had three cars with a flat tire. In the dream I got all of them fixed, but then I came back to one of them which was parked, and the left rear
tire was completely shredded and destroyed.
Bare with me here...
When we woke up, we gathered our things and headed for the hospital, only to hear a stange noise outside of the car. I go out to check, and - you guessed it - it's a flat. And on my left rear
tire, at that.
We headed back home, I replaced it with the spare, and we got to the hospital in time, whew! I went to get the tire fixed later, but it was too worn out and the guy recommended I just replace it. Since this was long-coming, I just replaced all four tires with new ones, and the car is now happy again.
What a weird coincidence.
